Day 3 began as we left Santa Maria into a fierce headwind through the Santa Maria valley. The area was littered with Brussels Sprouts and the smell was intense! We saw fields with carrots and some more strawberries. We stopped for a lunch #1 at Grover Beach (the first real beach we have seen)
Later we stopped in San Louis Obispo for lunch #2 at Ben Franklin Subs and some bike supplies. Later, we arrived at Morrow Bay Campground where we were pleased to find showers! (for the all essential hygienic factor) cooked, relaxed and walked to see Morrow Rock.
